Tonight, COS and YEBOAH celebrated the launch of their upcoming global collaboration with an experiential presentation in London.
Projecting colour and movement onto a vast circular space in a unique venue, guests were immediately immersed in a striking light presentation, inspired by the life cycle of butterflies. Poet and artist James Massiah created a bespoke soundscape that tied in with the over-arching inspiration of the collection, while kaleidoscopic patterns set the backdrop for the models, taking guests on a
journey of metamorphosis. Weaving through the runway, around an island of guests, Massiah also performed a live spoken word piece that continued the narrative for the evening.
The collection presents a blend of elevated wardrobe staples and street-luxe garments in a colour palette that combines dark hues with eye-catching yellow. COS’s classic soft tailoring merges with YEBOAH’s butterfly and pinstripe designs creating a sophisticated sensibility - an effortless marriage between the brands. Caps and beanies offer an air of ease alongside knitted hoodies and a varsity jacket. Meanwhile, puffer coats cocoon the body, and RWS wool checked fabrics appear as structured jackets and a reversible body warmer.
After the presentation, attendees including Naomi Campbell, Edward Enninful, Tinie Tempah and Riccardo Tisci celebrated into the evening. Guests enjoyed a curated cocktail by the award-winning Ramsbury Single Estate Vodka, while DJs Manny Norte and Taylah Elaine played into the night. The limited-edition collection is available exclusively at COS stores and cos.com from 1 February 2023.
